I ve got 2*256MB TCCD 437 & I wanna use them 24/7 @337*8 1:1 2.5-4-3-7 but I need ~3.1-3.2V for it, I ve got a fan over them, the temp is 36C (multimeter) in memtest.

I wouldn't risk it, even though my week 40 TCCD scale pretty good with voltage. Just not worth blowing out some sticks that will be worth their weight in gold (in a few months) over a few mhz.

Why worth so much in a few months?

BTW if its ram from a good company then it can ussually take the volts, but beware ram becomes voltage dependant. I have these corsair modules they are TCCD but they wont work unless they have 2.9v going through em even at stock, but hey perform beatifully with 3.1v

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to safely run 24/7 at 3.1V or 3.2V with TCCD. If it likes the voltage, then go for it. Your temps appear to be safe. On top of that, your modules are being actively cooled.

mine like 3.3v, week 431. i only run them for benching so i don't know about posterity though :stick:

:D I think 3,1 - 3,2 will be O.K. with active cooling, some TCCD want more and some want less voltage.

But I won't go any higher, myself burned a pair of A-DATA TCCD at 3,6 Vdimm some month ago.

Curiously they liked the volts till they died........... :toast:

I run my Centon TCCD at 3.0v whenever it needs to get past 300... anything less and it fails prime, although it will pass memtest at 2.5v at 315 Mhz... weird.

Yes to anything under 3.4V from here as long as you keep it cooled. The chips themselves have a "zap" rating of 3.6V... figure stay 200mV under that to allow for noise spikes on the supply rail. Side comment, none of mine have improved with over 3.1V, HCC must have had a kinky set :p:

:cord: <---- HCC and his Adata TCCD

I will second that :)

WOW... Seems like you got some nice kit there... What brand? GSkill or Adata? I assume 1T, of course ;)
Once you get stable into Windows at that speed don't forget about me - run Spi 32M and join others in the first thread in my sig :D

Thanks and good luck...

P.S. Let me look how much I'm giving my 2x256MB GSkill PC4800LA... back 3.07v with multimeter ;) Uptime: over 6 full days, under 100% LOAD crunching D2OL

it's stable in windows, everest 8483/2493/34.8 :) gonna run Super Pi now :)
Yea of course it's 1T & yea it's my A-DATA 566Mhz 2x256MB for 100 euro :p:

I used to think that 300MHz was an accomplishment for DDR1, but 666MHz is just insane. :ROTF:

Damn... This is great kit and nice OCing, bud  Do you maybe have A64Tweaker screenie to go with it? Keep pushing it!!!

Can I add this screenie to my thread? Thanks :D

Cover charge in "my club" is only 32M, Dumo... Come on, there's some TCCD hotties inside

I just keep messing that thread, am I not :D ?

after month and a half that my 440 tccd work in 3.1v 24/7 they stop to work properly
and get errors, if you ask me the voltage is killing the tccd rams.

as long as you keep the TCCD cool, I don't see why you can't run that many volts through 'em

The redundance was so that he would realize that there was an error in his post. I did PM him after my second post to give him a heads up on that. :wiggle:

of course, 2 80mm fans that cools the rams and the pwmic, and even without the fans the tccd rams in 3.1v is not hot at all.
i send the gskill le to rma and gat new le, they can do same has the "old" lr but in 2.8v. :p:

and $0m#0n#, you right the temperature and the dust here ... :P
