CaTalyst.X did all the soldering work (thanks much man!) minus the checkstation, and I did the rest. So far I've gotten 600 core w/ 1.45v and 540 mem w/ 2.2v. I'm gonna keep tweaking, I'd like to get higher on the mem but I don't know how much more voltage the chips can handle (but they certainly have enough cooling, there are 2 120mm fans blowing on those sinks :D). I also think the core has a bit more room, I might try for 625. w00t! :)

did you build a support for it? LoL. excellent cooling, but a bit large for my liking. Cool nonetheless!
Lol, it's a bid odd to handle, but surprisingly light. Thx guys.

LoL...it's been so long that i have left a stock heatsink on a card, i forgot...but you've got a point.

Lol, this was the first card I actually kept the stock heatsink on for a significant period of time in like, oh, hrmm, 2 years? :toast:

Could have gotten away with cutting half those off.... but still cool looking.
I had some x800s like yours that the ram was just :banana::banana::banana:e. Can't do much to get around it. Ram is more finiky than core. Cooling only help so far. Let us know if you come up with a solution.
Would 2.25v be safe in this setup?

i use 2.25 with just zalman ramsinks...ram does not go over 42c, with a fan blowing accros them. You should end up with lower temps. Samsung rates the mem max 2.5, but standard operation is 2.0v +/- 0.1v
SPEC sheet can be found here:

Aight, well I tried 2.25, I only gave me like 10 mhz max, and I have a feeling that was most definitely not stable. I cranked it up to 2.27 but it got all weird on me for a sec so I'm back @ 2.2. I also worked on the core a little, 1.5v pushes the cooling setup a little too far and doesn't give me that many more mhz, so I think the final clocks of this card will be somewhere around 600/540ish.

I had a 573/573 all-stock X800PRO. It's a pity, if you did it to that one, it would go to 625+ on the core and maybe 600+ on the memory :)
