Keep us posted on your results with the oc mate, I would be interested to see what the max fsb is.

I think EIST can be disabled 2 ways

- in XP Power Management set Power Schemes to "always on".
- disable C1E in the P5AD2 Bios. C1E is the "advanced halt state command". that triggers the multi drop to 14x = 2.8 GHz.

I am currently running a 3.73EE, that proc does not have EIST.

will do guys, im installin my watercoolin 2moro hopefully. in the mean time would any like 2 share there bios tweaks for the P5AD2-E PREMIUM. i feel like a total noob 2 the board after being with amd64 for the last yr :D

ive got 2x512mb kingston pc5400 ddr2, if any has this ram could they shed some light on wat voltages and timins are best?

also there are chipset voltages and fsb voltage options in the bios, wats the max i should go for both, bearin in mind the chipset will also be watercooled :)

well in that case i ave teh exact same setup as u mate, i whacked the fsb up2 250x16 soon as i set it all up and it was booting into windows fine, if it was stable or not is another question, but i was jus avin a lil fun till ive set up my watercoolin and start clockin this setup properly :) .

p.s, feel free 2 use this thread 2 post ur own problems overclockin ur setup as im sure it will help me and loads of otha members also

I have had no problem going over 240fsb. 240fsb was the highest I could go at stock voltages but it appears after a few weeks burning-in, I am now able to go up to 250x16 at 1.4v and my memory is 3-2-2-4 1:1 at 1.8v. Haven't had the time yet to really find out how far I can go.

burning the cpu?

what process you make to burning a cpu?

By "burning in", I meant that after setting-up my system, I was only initially able to go up to 240fsb at stock 1.4v. I didn't spend a lot of time playing around but I was also able to get up to 270fsb at 1.4375v. Two weeks later with my cpu at 100% load 24x7, I was able to bring up the fsb to 250 still at 1.4v. When I get some time, I'll finally try and find out how high I can go and remain stable.
