I run 260HTT x 4LDT i have heard this might be too much tho it seems to be ok..

Can people please post their multipliers and there FSB(HTT).

Would love to get a bit more information on it.

I run 289 X 9, but my POS Aspire 500W PSU is bringing me down.

Sorry SLaY307.. I was talking about LDT not CPU multi :)

I'm running 300*2.5, 2.5x allows to get up to 500mhz

Im running 250x4 due to my POS Abit AV8 mobo. The chip will prime at 2550 but anything past 2250 isnt 3d stable.

Don't use locked AGP/PCI! Use a viable ratio ;)

Common wisdom for the nF3 boards like you and I are using is to keep the HTT speed between 600 and 800 where (as you know) HTT speed = clock speed * LDT/FSB mult . The newer nF4 boards, plus I believe a few of the later nF3 versions with certain CPUs, have increased the upper limit to 1000.

Thanks man, but Ive tried that. Ive had this system since December.. tried everything once and a second time just to be sure.

And on a side note, I brought my box into our proto lab at work and hooked a scope up to the AGP and PCI slots to monitor bus speeds. The locks are working like a charm all the way up to 300 external clock, which is where I stopped testing.

LDT is very strange with my Av8.

If I use 5x I can´t go higher than 220 HTT (1100 MHz).
If I use 4x I can go up to 285 HTT (1140 MHz).
If I use 3x or lower I get bluescreens and reboots.

I have this on my DFI as well. I was originaly running 285 X 4 but thought lowering it to 3 would allow me to clock higher as 4 was really pushing it. Upon lowering it I had blue screens and freezing in windows. I put it back up to 4 and all was gravy again. Weird.
