Ok, I got my 3000+ a week ago and it took me until yesterday to learn/figure out that to get higher than 1950mhz I had to set my LDT Freq down. So I finally was able to get to ~2.4ghz last night but I had to run my ram like it was ddr 266 so that it wouldn't go over 215mhz. When I had htt and ram at the same speed anything over 215 wasn't 3d stable.

Basically what I'm asking is if new ram will allow me a higher mem. frequency. I'm assuming it will even though I'm using pc-3200. If it will/should can I get some suggestions on what kind to buy?

Specs:
Soltek K8TPro
Athlon 64 3000+ Winchester CBBID 0504 with the stock hs/fan
2 x 256 pc-3200 One Corsair(c2 v1.1) and One GeIL in dual channel
9800 Pro with an XT bios @ stock

The attached img is my highest pi stable. I get 36s in normal 1m spi.

Either G.skill or some kind of PC4400 will get you 275 FSB. Could try for 275 x 9 on that board ~ 2475 MHZ ram 1:1 1T at stock timings will fly.
