I'm sure this question has been answered but I can't find enough yet to make a decision.

I am a mild overclocker. I have an nf7-s and I run my processor close to stock speeds but with the FSB at 200 with class 2 timings using some hyperx.

I want to go with a 64 and I figure the 939 is the best socket to go with. I don't want to switch over to pcie as of yet as I just purchased a 6800. Also I want some ram that is reasonably priced and runs at good timings. Say, 230 mhz range would be nice at close to cas2 and a gig should do me.

What do you think? Which ram and mobo?

A little more specific. I don't want to spend more than $500 for the whole setup. Thats processor, mobo and memory. Actually, I could wait on the memory, as I have the hyperx and some xms lying around. What I was thinking was Abit AV8 and a 3000 or 3200.

I would definatly go for a Msi Neo2 Platinum and about the Rams.. quite every rams range 230 so if the shouldnt be to expensive go for Corsair, Twinmoss but there are also some others..

Why the MSI neo? Is it because of the NF3 chipset and why is it $141? Hehe. Could you be more specific, please.

Well IMO its the best overclocking AGP 939 board...

thats the reasen :) and its also very stable and so on...
so i would buy it and save some money by the rams if you wont go higher than 230.

Well the NF4 DFi doesn't have AGP. Not sure about NF3 though
