Should I trust a program like mbm5? I have it set to 1.525 and the ABIT Uguru is reading 1.4. Its a prescott core. I have a multimeter handy, but don't know how to test it.

Check over the net for the reading points, and stick your MM on it...

tried that, it appears ABIT redesigned the ai7 form the ic7's and things changed. There isn't a whole lot of info on the ai7.

I posted a thread in the Vmod section with all the Reading points of the AI7 IIRC....

looks like google wasn't my friend this time.
Any choke on the MB ( ie round thing with littel copper wire wrapped around it )
put the positive side (red) of the MM on the littel part thats not covered in protective stuff. And the black side to any part on your case. I'm pretty sure every MB has them.
Peace nugz
