ASUS 9800XT 256MB -> 128MB

Hi all. I've a problem. When I was removing RAM heatsinks from my 9800xt i scratchet 1 ram a little and now I get artifacts. Is there any way to mod a bios that the card will use just 128MB? I tried with bioses for 9800pro r360@ XT, but I can't flash cause they're not right (different PCB or ns ram). How to repair that...

i would rather recommend you to ask asus if they can repair the card...
you lost your warranty but they can still repari it and it might only cost you 50$ if your lucky :)
