I have the above on an Epox 8K5A3+ with XMS2700 RAM.
It lovely and cool at spec in sig (166 x 12) with temperatures maxing at 40 degrees.

But, no matter what I do, I just can't squeeze any more out of this CPU (and keeping it stable at the same time).

Highest post I've achieved in 173 x 12.

Although I know these CPUs don O/C well, surely I must be able to get some more out of it?

There is plenty of room for manouver within my temperatures, and I'm not afraid to pump some more voltage through it. But just whatever I do, I can't get much more out of it.

Any suggestions?

What STABLE O/Cs are other people achieving on AIR?

Thanks

Norb!

About 200 mhz OC is all I got out of mine on air with KX7, Corsair 3200c2 and swifty HS. I haven't really tried to push it since I picked up a 2400 and KD7, but am sure I will come back to it at some time to see if there is more there. Maybe let it run at that for a while and then try again. Good luck with it.:D

when i was still playing with AMD my xp2200 had a sweet spot at 10.5x 185-187 on a kx7 with xms3200c2. Prime 95 stable. Unstable to 10.5x 195-197
