@ serlv, Redp5 & WindForce...

Just curious... Do you guys have all your D2OL rigs at home or you're also borrowing some "off-site" ?

I have a couple that are "offsite"..... :D

My offsite rigs account for ~400-500 candidates/day... and I'm definitely happy to have them. :D

Oppps... just noticed you were only asking those guys... sorry... ;)

hehe... no I was just wondering in general :) from those of you guys that do 1000+ candidates / day, how many rigs are "home-brewed" and how many are "off-site" or "at work"...

I have 6 dual Xeons at home running 24/7 right now. Then I have 6 of my friends, family, and/or co-workers running another 10.7GHz of AMD power. These are all rigs that I've either given-away, made, or fixed for people.

Mine are all "inhouse". I'm in the doghouse as far as having any "outhouse" crunchers for this project.

I have some "outhouse" with another project I run, but as far as D2OL, they are all in my home.

edit- for cruncher info - These (http://woo.gotdns.com/MemberInfo/view.php?uid=14) are the machines I run at home, give or take a machine or two or three. Not all run d2ol, but a good majority of them do. The list is a little old and definitely needs to be updated, but it is fairly representative, in general, of what is here and crunching.

Right now, a couple of my machines are down and need to be reworked or fixed.

Well, as stated in the "show your docking rigs" threads, i have the rig on my sig @ home, my tablet-pc which is also on 24/7, and 2 more rigs ( P4 2Ghz ). The rest are crunching at work, where only those rigs that are on 24/7 and nobody works on them crunch ( fax servers, etc... ).

every thing is at home that runs d2ol,no offsite systems.

3.0-3.5k cands/day from ONLY home-based systems alone ? WOW!

I don't see farm like that running at my home in very near future, since 1 KWh costs 15 cents here :(.
It's hard to be D2OL cruncher in California

Thats why when it starts getting hot here in Oklahoma I'll be shutting most down. I can't afford A/C for the farm this year.

Oh man, don't do that! If they're all overclocked, then just clock them back to stock... But don't shut them down!

80% of mine are at home (link in sig) I just sold one from home over the weekend... Sold it to a friend at an EXCELLENT price if he just promised to run D2OL on it ;) Now I don't have to pay it's elec bill :D

I have 2 work PC's at my full time job... They both run D2OL.
I also have 2 more at my second job.

I've sold quite a few rigs at a loss if the buyer would promise to run D2OL :) I find that works out well for my power bill.

And this summer my farm will be clocked down to stock... (But not the Dual Xeon monsters!!!)
