HI,

does anyone know (DDTung?:)) how to volt-mod Asus ti4200 agp @ 8X? it uses kinda diffrent volt controllers. btw, it uses 2.8ns BGA Sammy mem chips and runs 275/600 default. it'll do 320/675 which is not too shabby.

i will try to take some piccies later, or at least post some info on volt controllers.

your input will be highly appreciated, thanks:)

Hi Janoz,

i'll post some info later. v-mem controller looks like the one on ti4600, but it's made by diffrent co. it seems. v-core looks more complicated though. there are two chips and either of them could be the one. hmm. i'm loosing faith in this card though. it only does 320/675 max on air. keep in mind that it uses 2.8ns memory @ 600mhz stock, so IMO it should do 700-730mhz easily...

i also posted this in another thread .
but i also own such a new AGPx8 card . and it seems like they're using diff chips on them .

brand and type i have is a Gainward ultra/700 , 128mb ram , AGPx8 (ti4200 , NV28.3 gpu)
but i do not see SCxxxx chips on it . in fact , it's a whole other design that all the previous gainwards i've had .
this one has CS4GN6 and CS 4GP4 on it . these are the only chips i can read the numbers of , the other ones are all plain black .

it does 295/640 . while i can do core 300 and mem 665 oc'd seperately . so i hope a vmod will help .
