It's the initial hardware cost that gets me... I can afford to keep them running but I can't take the hit of buying a high end rig all at once. And with the LV Xeon spiking in price... it's even harder.

For me, it is exactly the opposite. It is the monthly power bill thatis starting to crush me. The hardware is a one and done ( ok, once, done over and over :) ) kind of thing.

I'm with serlv on this one... Startup hardware I can scrape the money together for... the monthly electric bills just get to be a bit much month-after-month-after-month. :(

2 years my bro goes to collage and the one hes looking at dosent charge for eletricity. Im prolly ganna buy a couple rigs cheap of ebay or somthing and then send them up there then i will be in top 10 :hehe:
