About a month ago I purchased some PDP memory (PDC1G3200+XBLK) and the highest I can OC to is 2.25ghz at 2-3-3-5-1t and only get random (weekly) reboots and errors.. anything higher and it just errors right off the bat. No extra voltage to any component helped at all, looser timing didnt do anything. So I yanked one of the sticks and jumped right to 2.5ghz at 1.5x volts with 2.5-3-3-7-1t at 2.85v and voila! Completely stable! Memtest all day with no errors.. superpi 32m with no errors, WoW and Doom3 with no errors.. I ran this for a week with no problems. Then I swapped out the sticks and within 10 min into memtest.. bam it errors. So I automatically assume that stick is faulty, correct? Or do I need to test something else?
The advice I need is pretty simple and covered, sort of, in the PDP problem post. I have sent 2 emals with no replies or anything. I tried calling tonight and was told Scott was in a meeting, can I take a message and have him call you response... still waiting. I was thinking of just throwing this crap in the garbage and grabbing some OCZ or G.Skill from the start.. or should I let them attempt to fix this problem?
Thanks to all who replay.
