Sounds like music generated by from a sine tone generator back in the 90s.....very nostalgic.
Really like your "Ram-fan-dispencer" :D

You should move down here to Missouri, John. We could use some of your "Hillbilly Weld" experience. There is nothing a coat hanger and some duct tape can't fix.

And there are some that say you can build an entire house with just a hot glue gun.

well managed to get >29k in 3dmark 2001SE with that setup. Pretty much maxed, so might have to find more OS tweaks. I'm close to #2 within a 100pts or so. But #3 will have to due for now. CPU, vid card are maxed, 1mhz higher and I crash lol. The ram is freaking incredible. Mushkin Blue PC3200(sans spreaders) that's now using the winbond UTT chipss. This is the stuff that was also at fry's this weekend for like $60 a stick of 512, got 2 sets, one runs 100% stable at 245@3.3v and the other set runs 253@3.5v Cas2 2:2:26
Running 293 HTT at 11x multi and the 180 ram divider. And during benching running Cas 1.5 2:2:6 timings ;)

As usual JNAv, you forget to pay tribute to those who have made your karma possible. Tisk, tisk. You know the tale of the little overclocker who cried PSU. Everyone came to his aid, and he increased the 12V rail. Next time he cried, memory, everyone came to his aid again and told him about advanced-timings. Next he cried cooling, so we spent hours showing him how to seal his case, then fill it with ice-cubes and H20. Now he's watercooling, but once again he went too far. Those of us experienced in the esoteric art of hydro-thermal-micro-semi-conductive-dynamics, know too well you can't get greedy filling the water level above the PSU, it's cooling-fans must work, but nooooo, he wanted more.
Now he sits crying, and in an ironic twist of "insanity-paninities", saves his tears because someone told hin it's the tears of homunculi-headed robots which are used in heat pipes.
Don't ever forget to thank the Overclocking GOD's

This is the truth. You must always pray and render your offerings of thanksgiving and sacrifice to the OC gods. :p:

i trust you all pray while you are benching? I know i do, while trying to hit that 12.5k.

I pray to the lucky OC leprechauns. The moment I cease to abide by their will, they punish me and I end up having to give sacrificial hardware offerings to the RMA gods. I hate the RMA gods. Oh, how I hate them.

Well I was just kidding with JNav of course, he's been a great friend.
But I must say anyone smart enough to slap their name on the back of a vehicle that hold a corner like she was on rails, and still sit in the lap of leather luxury must have have the karma. Myself, I won't buy another vehicle until I can afford Aston Martin! I hope one of my books will make the NY Times Best Seller list. So I'll just keep praying in general.
In so far as Hardware, well I've been given the nickname The Breaker and thinking of putting the slogan at my website; "At ksBrainstorms we break stuff better."
Here's a few tidbits when your feeling down: When I'd first got my AA8 Duramax, and Danger Den released their S-775 TDX mount, for about a week I couldn't discover why my system would randomly shut down. Finally removing a NEW Sapphire X800 XT PCI-ex $600+ graphics card I'd just traded $1200 of memory for, I found little droplets of H20 in the PCI-ex slot! It had been slowly leaking from my TDX Barb above which I forgot to inspect to ensure it was tightened prior to intsllation.
Recently I'd mounted an FX. But just having to fiddle, I wanted to re-mount it trying to get that extra -4C degree. I decided to clean the FX-53 which I'd traded my life for, and broke one of the SMD's (surface capacitors) off. The previous owner had removed the IHS and put a rubber-like epoxy over the SMD's. While cleaning off what I thought was "gunk" it stuck to the cloth, and pulled off a cap with it. I got about one minute worth of use with that $700 CPU before I "broked it."

I guess it's safe to assume that the following applies to you:
1. The lucky OC leprechauns do not favor you
2. The RMA gods want nothing to do with you
3. The 0wn3d gods have a place for you in their hell
Man. Those pictures were not a pretty sight. After reading your post and viewing those images, I instantly felt lucky (despite my recent twice-in-a-row-Ultra-D-RMA-session).
Cheers!

Well I've had some tough luck, but in many respects I'm one of the most blessed people. Given the circumstances of my life I'm lucky to be alive. I surfed from Cape-Cod to Hawaii's blue water, Cand Costa Rica's west coast. Skiied Park City Utah and almost every hill in Vermount. I've MTB'd the Mt.Tom range to stop and have Eagles soared thermals so close could almost touch them.
I'm only limited by myself at this point. So I'm rich with memories and got a karma bank account from giving away hardware. Of course to say you have a karma-bank account and gave away hardware steals the humility from giving, and defeats the purpose, Doh.
As I said, I'm still growing, and lucky to be waiting for FedEx again.
;)
And I live in a pretty nice place, worse comes to worse I'll stow-away on one the ships below..
