I hate windows XP, windows 98 SE is the best thing I ever used; even better than windows 2k. Windows 95 is allso better than XP but it isn't supported anymore by a lot of software.

WIDOWS 95 was worse than XP, but not by much. I'm going to have it engraved on my tombstone: Killed by Microsoft.

eh, xp pro works pretty good for me. i use server 2k3 on a few rigs as well. eventually, linux will reign, yeah!!

i finally got my comp working to where i can do some stuff. last nov i used the system retreation kits over a dozen times. almost all my dll are shot to hell and i cant play any movies or game's. it wont even run windows media player anymore, thats why im just building a hole new comp from scratch i dont even wont any peace of mine anymore

XP at my school too. I'm not too fond of 2k but I do like it better then the 9X. I like XP the best.

I run Windows XP on my laptop and my desktop. XP is probly one of the best OS's Microsoft has turned out. I just got to mess around with Windows NT 4.0. Seems pretty nice. Only problem, I'm too stupid to delete a dial up connection. :( It runs fairly good on a 500mhz Celeron with only 192mb of RAM

If you run ME by choice u need to have ur head examined. Whenver i fix a computer its becuase of two things. ME screws up, or ME screws up and there is spyware.. Usualy its the former and not the latter of two.. its really sad how much microsoft f'ed up on that release...

I can get a lot of stuff for pretty cheap, office, xp pro, etc all like under $10.

XP is just too full of n00b features and ghey themes. nLite (http://nuhi.msfn.org/nlite.html) that sucker and it's better... but not as good as 2000.

for all those that haven't used ME, just trust me, you'd be severly surprised at how :banana::banana::banana::banana:ty it was, just to use my computer(back in the day) i had a plan to get around all the BSOD, just to get online, then i could have about 5 minutes to do whatever i wanted before i'd have to worry about the peice of :banana::banana::banana::banana: operating system f' up some how again

I think the most problems I had with Windows were with Me. 98 wasn't good, but not horrible. 2000 has always been my preference

Actually MS did a very very good job on ME and no one seems to acknowledge it.

They proved that no matter how :banana::banana::banana::banana:ty and buggy their soft is, people still buy it and ask for more !!!!

They also prove that there's no alternative for the mass public in computers
