hi there, ive got a few pci 6800gts which where brought as faulty, basically nearly all of them have the followin components damaged, if i kno wat they are i can simply go out and buy them and resolder em bk on the pcb

They are inductors/chokes which are used in the cards voltage regulators to produce the regulated voltages. You would have to get the exact same value that the card was designed to use. You would also have to get ones which are able to carry enough current for the card.

well i jus went down 2 my local maplins, and there totally useless :( so does any1 tho where i can order these online?

if they are voltage regulaters, and they are faulty... surely they could've knackered the whole card by letting too much voltage through and frying the core...
You never know if thats the only problem...
how much did u pay for them?

I dont think so, bc w/o that choke/inductor the card wouldnt get any voltage.
see if digikey has them or send a pm to persivore, he knows where to get that hard to find stuff.

You can get surface mount inductors here (http://www.coilws.com/Surface%20Mount%20Products/New%20Shielded%20SM/SE1306H.php). They will also wind custom indictors if they don't stock the value you need, but it looks like they sell the high current inductors you need. I'll look around and check if I can find anywhere that sells them in the UK as well.
Edit: Farnell might also sell the inductors you need.
