Any update on this bios?? Im hesitant to test it after what I hear about some of the guys on another forum that recieved a bios directly from MSI, and it ended up killing there boards.. (well probably really didnt kill them, just corrupted the bios so they will not boot anymore)
A little off topic, but doesn anyone know if the DDR booster will work with this board, cause OCZ website says no?

I've read you're not supposed to use it with any boards that have a 24-pin PSU connector. Any confirmation or explanations for this, people?
Even if you plug the extra 4 pins, it wont work? I can't imagine why it wouldn't, but it's not exactly my area of expertise. ;)

Eradicator,
The reason we don't support the booster on the board is that the booster is 20 pins and the mainboard is 24. However, for fun, i tested it anyway with a 20 pins (without an adapter as well) psu and it worked :)

Cool, so it will work as long as your using a Good 20 pin PSU.. So im assuming that the dim volts are coming from the 3.3v rail and not the 5v rail then? Whats the max volts you achieved with it on this board?
Thanks
Off to give it a try, hoping not to blow up anything.. My bh-5 are screaming for more volts..

???
3.3v rail? But the Booster goes up to 3.8 or so on some boards.
Also, could you just use a 24pin PSU and a "P4" connector to extend the extra 4 pins into the motherboard's 24 pin connector and have everything work okay?

Well some board, like the Epox Nforce3 use the 5v rail to feed the volts to the memory, so if you plugged the booster up to that board, it would smoke the board, mixing 5v and 3.3v rails arent a good thing obviously..
Good news is im on the booster right now, but my board is the Neo4-F, which is the regular Nforce4 chips version, not the ultra.. But my chipset is revision A3, so closing two of the bridges should give me the equivalant to a platinum, well from what I read anyways.. Not bad for a $85 board, huh.. Time to see if my BH-5 plays well with this board with high vdimm :D

Hmm, anyone know a good program to monitor vdimm volts on this board? I want to trust what the booster says, but just like some assurance..

Looks like it does. Someone from a local forum was having problems getting past 219MHz on his 3000+ using the BIOS, now he's up to 250MHz (and going :)).

Does this version have the increased vcore like the beta 1.21 and 1.24 versions?

Yes it does, mine goes up to around 1.7v. I say around because the vcore fluctuates alot on this board. :(

Ive wasted 20+ hours with my MSI NF4 SLI PLatinum POS.
It locked up a few times installing windows and once I got everything loaded it reboots shortly after showing the windows logo screen.
Ive booted maybe four times out of five hundred attempts. Makes me sick of AMD crap.

Fugger, sorry to hear about all your troubles with the MSI.. Were you running the board under phase or on air? Reason Im asking cause Im about to put the board under one of my r22 phasers and am hoping that it will not cause issues, since for me the board has been working so nicely on air??
Thanks..
