Like planned monthly, ATI has released a new version of their Catalyst drivers, version 5.3.
You can download them directly from ATI's site :

BaNaNaS you could edit the install INI file so that your card shows up.
Go into the device manager to get you cards device ID for the primary and secondary card. If you right click each card and choose properties then go to details you will see this "PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4A50&SUBSYS_00021002" or something like that. The device ID is the "4A50" in this case.
Make a note of the primary and secondary ID, then go to the ATI directory file where the INI file is and just change the name and ID of one of the cards in the INI file to the one your card has :)
C:\ATI\SUPPORT\wxp-w2k-catalyst-8-082-041130a-019577c\Driver\2KXP_INF
Is the where the file is . You may need to edit this file to "CX_19577.inf" which is in the same place :)
It will look like this in the INI file:
RADEON X800 XT Platinum Edition" = ati2mtag_R420, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4A50&SUBSYS_00021002
RADEON X800 XT Platinum Edition Secondary" = ati2mtag_R420, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4A70&SUBSYS_00031002
I hope that makes sense :)

No, not at all :(
Natures same low fps of 5.2 and 4.12. (just 1 or 2 fps improvement)
Dragos very bad performance - w/ X850 stock@615-659 - DL drop from 700 (4.12) to 670 (5.3) :(
Also quite bad on Car low ..
Tested on Win2K/DX8.1
I must find a good driver very soon, cascade benching in 2 days ..the dam ATI 850 really does not seems to be 2001 friendly :( :(

I like the new 5.3 drivers.
3500+ @ stock
DFI Ultra-D
G.Skill LE @ 200mhz 2-2-2-7
X850XT Pe @ stock
3dmark 2005 score: 6332.
With Catalyst 5.2 I score around 6325. So the 5.3 is a little bit better.
