Hello all! I've been doing a lot of computer study lately, and I'm starting to know what the heck I'm doing with my computer! (<<< sweet emo)

Anyways, I've been signing up to a lot of forums, and a friend on another forum showed me this one. Of course, when I get my new computer (my first self-bought and assembled computer) I'm going to mod the crap out of it! So I figured this would be a good place to ask questions about different mods that I will have in mind, and also other computer-related questions I have.

By the way, my name is Cedric, I'm 18, and I'm from Canada. I like to skateboard, do anything related to computers, read, and listen to music. Now you know me :D

Well.... I'll be posting again soon with any questions I have. Thanks for the privilege of posting here.

I've only been a member here for a short while but I thought I'd welcome you as well :)

/me likes skateboarding too, but I haven't done it for a couple of years, no time and no other skaters around here and actually no places to skate either.. Just forest and dirt roads :D I think Kunaak is a skater as well (judging from his homepage).

Thanks all, and STEvil drinks more postohol then you all.

I have the same problem with skating dude; I used to live in Vancouver, but now I live in a small crap town. Only two skate spots, and they both suck. One nice handrail though.

Welcome to the forums Cedric. But they are right, that sig is too big ;) shrink it a bit and it will still look great. If you're not sure how, lots of members here are pro's. Just ask and you'll have tons of help.

Better yet, just make sure your employer can provide you with adequate overtime in order that you may keep up with the rest of the bunch. :p:

Welcome to the sickness! :toast:

As suggested, burning of all credit cards and putting you money in a savings account is a wise idea.. lol..

but if ur anything like the rest of us (cough cough conrad) you wont need to burn ur credit card as it will melt from being overused and abused.

LOL. I actually don't use credit cards unless it's an emergency. I use an ATM/debit card that isn't linked to the Mr. and Mrs. Maranan joint checking account. My wife and I have a set allowance for the week. It is understood that all of my overtime earnings are for my personal use towards my interests and hobbies. It's nice to have a joint account, but it's even sweeter to have separate personal accounts on top of that. :p:

better hope ur wife doesnt read this conrad... lol..

some guys have personal accounts for their mistress'..

we on the other hand have personal accounts for our computers....

I can care less if she reads this. She knows she married a player and ain't nuttin' gon' stop me from doin' my thang. :D

By the way, don't take me too seriously. ;)

Believe it or not, those types of environments are native to me. I had it rough as a teen and lived that life for a good while - to the point where my parents feared for my life and had to send me to the Philippines for my last two years of high school.

"You can take the boy out the hood, but you can't take the hood outta homeboy."
I worked as a volunteer for the preliminary Los Angeles Mayoral election on Tuesday the 8th. I was in Blood territory over on La Brea and Rodeo at the Sports Complex. I was dressed in blue from head to toe and stood out like a sore thumb whenever I stepped out of the election area. Do I worry about it? Nope. I'm too old for that stuff.

Yes, there is nothing wrong with postohol, as you can see by my Xenimus forum account: http://www.falconforum.com/xenportal/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=91

And I will get to work on my sig right now.

a wee bit too big still.. shorten it up a bit.. if u want make it wider and shorter... its incredibly annoying to have tall sigs as it makes scrolling through the forums a chore.

crankster... "Im gonna bust a 0 in ur a s s !"

EDIT: crankster.. you neeed to make urs smaller too.. lol... cant go chastising the new guy and let the old guy get away with it.

Here is the rule becuase no one reads it

Signatures should have a letter size of 4 max, and the entire sig including all orb links, system description and pics shall be no larger than 250Hx550L pixels.

Cedric
03-13-2005, 03:37 PM
Properties says 432 x 202 pixels... I'm guessing that since my sig is longer than it is higher, the 432 is the length, but then again, I don't really know how the pixels thing works.

MaxxxRacer
03-13-2005, 03:47 PM
well shiver me timbers.. for some reason i was thinking that yours was the other way around... sorry about that.. it just seems bigger than it really is... I guess a limit of 150 would be more appropriate then. idk.. but ur fine so just ignore what i said previously.

same thing for cranksterl.. excuse me while i remove my foot from my mouth.

Cedric
03-13-2005, 05:40 PM
lol thanks. It would get hard to read if I reduced the size anymore, and I can't make the font bigger because I didn't save the work file  And I'm really lazy to start from scratch lol.
