i think y'all need to figure out what the heck your doing!!

first we get a "sticky poll locked" (where did that thread go) and now a "front page" thread locked over a link.

seems like the left hand dosnt know what the right hand is doing around here...

im here for information and that seemed like a nice little G.Skill vs. OCZ TCCD thread and then: locked thread

look, i like this place...im just pointing out that it seems like a few are pulling it in one direction and others in another.

ok, 1 last shot...

if the link in the very first post was against the rules why wasnt it closed / locked within the first 10 posts? (Sayaa, you posted 2x in that period of time...wasnt the link against the rules then?)

if the reason the thread was locked was it was getting "off topic" then why blame it on the link?

why have a thread that is against the rules (from post #1) on the front page? (no matter if it went off topic / got locked b4 or after front page link)

why the hell do i care?

First off, opening a thread with an flaming comment like "i think y'all need to figure out what the heck your doing!!" isn't the best way to get started at resolving anything.

Second, saaya doesn't need to tolerate the criticism on this thread when he is only trying to help.

Third, the topic should have been private in the first place.

Fourth, your comment adding nothing as well.

Public whinning is never pretty and deserves no respect.

EDIT - That said, I apologize for being offensive. Monday morning and all that :(

I closed the thread, which meant the front page link shouldn't be on the front page, but I think you posted it there before I closed the thread. Don't worry...it's Monday. ;) You did nothing wrong. I should have notified you I closed the thread and removed the link. My fault.

I'm responsible for what gets posted to the front page. I posted the story because it was important to the forums. Like saaya and others have said, check the dates. The thread was closed days after it was posted.

Please talk to Kazoo if you have further issues, she is a good mediator. Do not post complaints of this nature again in the open forums, especially with the "please do not ban me" tagline.
