Congrats, the 9600XT is still the best all-round mainstream card imo and you've helped prove that. Though its a tad discouraging to see an nv 6200 (half XTs cost) doing 3k easily when you unlock the pipes to a 6600, the 9600XT is still very much a king in 01  and hopefully you can prove it there as well.
Congratulations again, though I must say, you have some of the WORST ram timings I've ever seen    !!! 250 @ 2T !!! AND cas 3 OMG !!!!
If you could fix the timings up a tad bit like cas 2.5 1t @250, which is too easy with your ram :) , I'm quite sure your results will pick up

yes~~
Then you should know its capable of ~270 @ cas 2.5, 1T so you shouldnt have a problem benching with tighter timings

Out of interest, how much difference did the CPU overclock make? And could you expect any more points with a 256MG card?

9500 pro was the best mid-range card, ati were fools to replace it with the 9600xt. Well they weren't, 9500p was shooting themselves in the foot. But still best mid-range card award has to go to 9500p, not 9600xt.

I really like the 9600XT and the rv360 chip itself.......but, to call it a king of '01 is a little far fetched. Other four pipe cards like 5600U, 5700 and 5700U seem to be capable of more with less clock speed in '01. A 6200, even without a softmod should be able to hit 19K at 550+mhz...

Looks like fast GFX memory definately makes a difference in 05 then.
What caused the 300pt jump?

mine one cant hit over 365MHz of memory without tweak...... :p:
so i make the core higher and higher...

Didn't your core do 660 earlier?
