Congrats on a very nice score! But I don't think your anywhere near the top '01 score for 6600gt.  I don't get it.

your on a modded bios already, right?
75.90 are the best drivers for 2k1 i think.
what card do you have? does the heatsink use a heatpad or termal paste?

66.93 are better than 75.90 for 2k1, but 75.90 are good in AQ3, 2k3, and 2k5

There's another 1k in that score with MPS Uniprocessor & Win2kShould I use ACPI or MPS?

Honestly, I think that record is too much "specific".
1st on ORB with stock cooling, ok. 1st on ORB with 6600GT, ok. But 1st on ORB with stock cooling and with a 6600GT seems a little bit too much detailed...
But its still a nice score;)

MPS Uniprocessor. AFAIK its ACPI Multiprocessor...

Nice score but as skate said pretty "generic" ;) I scored over 28000 with "stock" cooling though it was an fX-55 ;)
I run 66.93 drivers and a64 tweaker settings will totally depend on your ram....

How much faster?

Actually I tested both and ACPI multi gave me 150pts over MPS....

Perhaps generic, but give him credit either way :toast:
wtf is MPS or uniprocessor...any gain in benchies ?
Think it has to do with the IRQ´s so that all your peripherals have their own IRQ.

Sry to bring up an old topic, but how is it possible to get an overclock that high on stock! I have an XFX 6600gt and i can only hit 550mhz core, 1.17ghz mem with my case closed, and a little higher with it open. I don't have any case fans running cause mine kinda suck (along with my case), but just a few case fans couldn't possibly help your oc that much.
I have a:
AMD 3500+ Winnie (No OC yet, will with new ram)
MSI K8T Neo2 S939
XFX 6600gt 128mb (540/1.17)
1024mb Crappy Generic RAM (planning on getting new stuff)
Maxtor Diamondmax 10 200gb 7200rpm 16mb ATA133
Seagate Barricuda 80gb 7200rpm 8mb ATA133
BTW, GJ on the OC.

Which cooler do you have? I have the refrence I can run 3dmark2001SE all day long @ 615/1200, but it has some reserve. ;)

Stock Cooling
EDIT: Any help anyone?
EDIT: Also what coolers are good for a 6600gt, because I'm having trouble finding one that fits, the only one I could find easily availble to me is the ZALMAN VF700-CU, which looks pretty good. Would cost me $41 Cdn.

It's depends on luck & also Leadtek uses it's own cooler not the reference so it's better, I 'd get an old scA cooler, make holes in it & put it on but u dont forget it's very easy 2 destroy the core, if u r afraid & dont have time for it go with Zalman . . .

There is another cooler designed for the 6600GT AGP, Stasis Icestorm 6600GT VGA cooler, I'm thinking about ordering one. :)
