AMD 3500 wrong cpu clock? Help

Hey,

alright I just got my new comp

Is a winney amd64 3500, msi neo4 Plat, x800xl, etc...

Anyways when I run cpuz and 3dmark01 it shows my cpu core clock speed as only 1004 MHZ.

But when I check in the bios it shows my cpu core clock as 2250 MHZ.

So which ones right?

Now I am using the MSI cell ocing thing, that oc's when cpu under load like games and stuff, I only have it set at 3% as only have had comp for a few days and wanna make sure is ok.

Cool & Quiet enabled ?? The 3500 is clocked back to 1000Mhz idle with C&Q enabled.

Now should I turn cool and quiet off?

And when I run tests like 3dmark will it turn off?

Mine is always off while benching. I guess with C&Q enabled the tests in 3Dmark will still be running at 2200Mhz, C&Q clocks back when idle.

If you're going to OC then turn it off.
