I was alittle lost when I read this story here.
cause I know this name... it's one of those names that are synonomous with quality, and epic japanese RPG's... it's a name that stands out, like hideo kojima... except this one, is associated with square..

so I was like "no way... is this wrong?" when I first read it... I mean, Hironobu Sakaguchi, the name I've seen at the begining of every final fantasy game I ever played... now works for microsoft.

very weird.
I can't help but to be alittle speechless, like, is this good, or bad?

see I love final fantasy games, and I love the Xbox.
but the final fantasy series must be property of Square, even though Hironobu is the one that created the series and such... so he is now making Xbox 2 , exclusive RPG's.

it's kinda weird to me.
but I am sure Microsoft is gonna give this guy any thing he wants, hoping he can finally bring a RPG to the Xbox that seems to inspire the same fanatical loyalty that Final Fantasy did for the SNES and PSX and later the PS2.
since basically, the Xbox can do most things quite well, but all attempts at a RPG, have always been rather "ho hum" at best.

but Hironobu did it once with the FF series.
can he do it again, for the Xbox 2??

I don't know, I am still alittle speechless after reading this...

as was i, but this is really great news... i can finally enjoy amazing rpg's on a non-playstation console. Think what we can do with our xbox's now (making it into a media center, adding hard drivers, storing all ur games on the hard drive etc) and all that amazing fps and sports games it has, now add that to faster better looking tech: xbox2 AND amazing RPG's... this is like a console gamer's heaven!
