Hey, I'm going to be getting a new A64 soon and was just wondering which stepping has proved to be the best so far when overclocking? Thanks

I've got a 3000+ CBBFD 0441 TPMW
It is Prime95 stable at 2.5Ghz (1.50v)
It's stable for everything else at 2.6 (1.60V)

I have found several of these stepping guides online a over the place, but the stepping printed on this CPU I haven't been able to find, I only found it listed as a 3200+ weird.

0447UPCW also very good

The following steppings of 3000+ overclocks nice:
0433SPMW (with much luck, there are good ones and BAD ones)
0445SPAW
0446SPCW
0447UPCW
0448TPMW
0448SPAW
0450UPNW

CBBHD0445VPMW for the 3200+

They are good as long as they are below 2,5 or 2,6 Ghz, much of them do 2,5GHz with 1,4 Vcore but dont reach with acceptable Vcore!

My 0451 and 0503 both sucked. The week 50 and below seem to be the better ones.

well right now i'm kind of debating on either a 3500+ or 3200+, but it might not be until july by the time i get one, so i'm just kind of researching for the time being. Aren't those the dates you guys are giving me? I'm wondering about stepping like cbbhd and cbbid and stuff.

3200+ CBBHD0450SPBW --> Primestable 24h @2550 Mhz /1,55V; Boots 2700Mhz but fails Prime within 5 mins. @1,60V
3000+ CBBGD0440SPAW --> 2450 Mhz Primestable24h /1,45V ... CPU runs Primestable /1800Mhz @1,20V!

What about 0447UPCW But a 3200+?
a local store had a 3200+ 0447 upcw CBBHD, they have atleast 5 more too. the 3000+ were 0501's, so i asked them what they did, he said he gota great deal back then and stocked up on them. So i grabed one lastnight.

Can not beleave theres like 5+ or more of thease chips sitting down there (about a block away from my house). Gota vmod my new referbed K8NS Ultra. And i'll see what it can do.

But thats right CBBHD 0447 UPCW 3200+ and i know for sure i could go get more of thease same chips for a littel wile. I can't find anything on "0447UPCW" 3200+,, i can find it like you said from a 3000+ but 3200+,, and theres more than 1. There's a few down there so i thougth someone eals would have one too.

Anyways i'll post results.

Peace, nugz

i dont know, i have a 0448 SPAW 3200+ and it sucks hard, i cant reach 2,7 ghz and 2,5ghz needs 1,6 vcore, but all the 3000+'s are nice.. so i dont really know but the 0447UPCW 3200+ seems to be nice to, the following screen ist of an 0447UPCW 32000+
http://www.vr-zone.com/ocdb/amd_screenshots/348i.x-png

but its made with LN2 so i think it isn't soooo nice, look @vcore!

I dont know from where you suggest this,i have two 0445VPMW,they perform more than 2800MHz with 1,63 Volts.More than 1.63 Volts brings not 1MHz more.This is my experience with 0445VPMW.
