weird artifacts when playing DivX's

I've noticed just now that when I play a DivX I get weird artifacts on my screen.

They are like blue and soemtimes yellow dots, quite big, say about 2mm's in diameter.

I wanna know why they are there. I've flashed my card recently to a 9800XT but I don't think that could've caused the artifacts

running the mem at 355 doesn't help either. well it help but only mildly

does anyone know how I can resolve this problem? I have no artifacts in game or when I bench, just when I play these DIVX's thats all.

try running the XT at stock 9800pro clocks and see if that helps. Just to check if its the OC that is screwing up.

even at stock it has it, it stops having them weird artifacts at 348MHZ on the RAM

I'm having BGA ramchips comming in from freezinghardware so I hope that'll help but weridly enough I have no problems in games or DVD's or benchmarks
