I'm playing around with my old rig trying to get some good overclocks.
2500+, 1GB LL Dual Channel memory, 9800Pro and an nF2 board.

When running the 3DMarkXX Benchmarks, If I run my memory at DDR460 I get a lower score than when I run it at DDR450 with the same timings(2-3-3-10) and multiplier(9). Any Ideas why this would happen?

That is pretty odd. Maybe your cpu is too hot and downclocks itself to save itself?? What temp is your cpu running at.

this is pretty odd, I have seen this kinda thing happen with gfx card clocks but never with cpu/mem. My old 9800pro game me lower or same benchies after a certain clock speed and I thought that was weird as well.

It probly means that the RAM is getting unstable, try to loosen the timings

If your running 1:1 then it might be CPU and/or RAM

I am running 1:1, and the CPU Temp never got above 47C... I'll try loosening the timings and see what happens. Thx for the input.
