Hi, I just got a Thermaltake Bigwater Kit from my brother-in-law for $20 still in the box. So naturally I get online to see if its any good. I have read many posts that it is not good. Can anyone please tell me what parts/features of the bigwater kit it is that is bad? I figure if I got the kit for $20 I can replace the problem areas and still have a nice watercooling system for cheap.

Let me be the first to welcome you to Xtreme Systems, where we kill hardware with Xtreme effeciency.

Now down to buisness.

the pump is the first thing that needs to go... second is the cpu block.... lol... thrid is it could use a bigger radiator. when you do all of those things your left with some tubing that wont work in any other system and you have just boughten yoruself an entirely new setup...

if he aint going extreme, just leave it alone.. but if you really want to improve on it, go with the pathetic pump.

I just had this kit trough my hands, i bought it cheap(used) restored it very fast and sold it again with a little profit, and while i had it, it seemed okay, i never tested the ability to cool, but the CPU cooler heavy and made of alot of cobber, and it looks good, i've read that it performs like the version 1 of Asetek Waterchill..

And i really liked the pump, a little 12v driven waterpump! :)

The worst thing i suspect to be not so good, is the Radiator, its made of cobber tubes, with aluminium exterior and its very light and small, i don't think the cooling ability is very good, but maybe enough for about max a P4 3ghz or AMD 3200+! <-- Maybe..

I got pictures :) I love to take pictures, so why not of this? :)

The pictures will describe them selfs.. I leak tested it, you see!
