I believe to get that to work you HAVE to have the board its bundled with.

Since it's the same price as a 6800 Ultra, I'd say go with the ultra. You can use it in the future, and it's faster stock, and overclocked.
edit: by future I mean with another mobo
I wonder what it does for scores....

gygabyte's promotion said, it's faster than a normal 6600gt SLI
I think it somewhat faster than 6800gt
one more crazy thing is maybe you can find a hack or hardmod to make it double SLI :D, SLI mode with 4 core :D; IF ONLY it could be hacked or hardmoded

it's bad card on high resolution and AA\AF bcoz the tiny memory controller (128bit)
in high resolution and AA\AF the single 6800GT is better or even x800xl is better than 3d1

Ive heard the card is good for 3dmark supposedly around 6800 speeds, but as said its only 128bit, so its kinda pointless. I think gigabyte just did this to try and make some extra cash.
Asus is reported to have a dual gpu card too, but theres no hard sources ive seen for it.
yeah apparantly the asus one works in any mobo and can do SLi with 4 gpu's, altough i've heard nothing on it since before christmas, probably ironing out the bugs
OMG What they are doing with the video cards is insane now. I can't afford all of this lol
