Very Impressive...
Do you think that would be wise to go from a 3.4 GHz 550 (4GHz aircooled) to 3.2GHz 640 CPU?
Sorry for the off-topic question and i will appreciate your answer...

That's really not an upgrade at all. Save your money.

Great job firefoxx, nice results. Now we need some 3d benchies to see if the extra 1MB cache helps in 3D 01.

thx to all for the flowers...^^
The thing about 3D is, that I've only a GF 6800LE @ 16/6 to do this, so no X800 or X850, but maybe I can borrow one for a few days.

:slobber: Impressive O/C!
Anyway, just tell us what was your 3D Mark 2001SE score before with the older CPU and now.

have you tried with only one block?
maybe the 2 x 512 Mb block are holding you back?

No, I used 2x256MB BH5 for my benchies, they do 271 2-2-2-5

Thx Firefoxx, my 660 SL7Z5 Costa Rica, 3439A951 (pack date: 02/11/05) has just arrived :p
I will try to keep it cool on water and hope it'll do a lot better than my "old" 560 d0. (your results gave me a reason to switch)

For 3D you could check out the 3DMark section. LardArse (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=54643) has some insane 3Dmark03 numbers there w/ the 3.73EE (which is basically the same CPU with different multiplier).
