I don't fully understand the HTT stuff, I understand the FSBxmulti, like the XPs.... lookin in the bios this stuff is confusing me.
What bios settings do you recommend I try? 275x8?

couldnt agree more, take some time and try it on your own at a conservative level and then ask for tweaks and such after you are ready. Good choices in hardware though!

I have the say, the temps rock on this thing... Case 22C, CPU 28C, at idle, with stock cooler and AS5. Given, i'm still at stock vcore... but still :)
And I have a Thermalright XP-90 on the way...

Read through that thread, still a bit confused.. I understand I want to keep my HTT not much higher than 1gb, or lower... and I understand the clock speed is FSBxmulti... what i'm having problems comprehending are the Dividers... can I get a few examples, and explanations?
I seen someone recommend these settings to someone:
255FSBx10@166
2.55ghz, now is the memory being run at 255? What is the "divider" dividing, and why? sorry to sound like a complete n00b. lol

I'm sure I didn't do this the best ways... but, I upped the FSB to 300, set timings to 10-4-4-3, and lowered the multi to 7, and HTT to 3... ran memtest, had errors on test #4 & #5, lowered the FSB to 295 10-3-3-2.5, errors on test #5, loosened the timings to 10-4-4-3, still errors... lowered the fsb to 290 10-3-3-2.5, completed 2 loops without errors... (I know that's not much)
HTT=3x
FSB=290 @ 10-3-3-2.5 @ 2.75vdimm
Multi=8.5
2465mhz effectively... got into XP, went to run SuperPI, and got blue screen, then reboot. Never seen SuperPI open...
Went into bios, lowered FSB to 285, set multi 9, upped vcore to 1.55... ran superpi 1mb in 32s... tried to run 32m, had an error after 10secs or so...
I can tell, just by reading what I wrote that I need to figure out one thing at a time, max fsb, max clock speed, etc... heh :)
