Another interesting thing i saw, is Xbox is under ms office spell check now.

the dictionary at the bottom is all wrong, eg.

I don't think that will help most parents understand l33t, though. It's something that's learned, not something that can be taught, IMO. (IMO is a term commonly used in instant messaging and online forums to indicate that a user is expressing his or her opinion and that others should not be offended by said user's message or ideas. A literal translation of IMO is generally agreed to be "in my opinion". Variations include "IMHO" (in my humble opinion), IMFHO (in my freaking humble opinion), etc.).)
