I am starting to work on a PC-65 clone and a Mach II conversion kit made of translucent, green acrylic. I have a range of thickness for various jobs. I understand acrylic can carry a static charge. Will I need a metal mobo tray to ground the mobo? Or will plastic mounting be good enough?

Btw, I will update with pics when I start work.

good question, all the retail ones seem to be just acrylic, i'd never really given it much thought until you mentioned it

just some foam washers between your standoffs and the mobo should be fine, thats what comes shipped with all of the factory built acrylic cases
