Is the OCZ 520 Powersteam + DFI ultraD a good combo or are there any problems with these two? Or should i take the 600w Powersteam?

Have the Powerstream 520W and DFI SLI-D combo for over 1 week now, along with an X850XT, 8HD's, cd/dvd, 7 fans and a DD 12V pump. Doesn't even sweat.
Payed mine 136€, which is the cheapest I could find.

I was using a Powerstream 520 as well with my Ultra-D, up until the board killed itself for no reason. I still plan on using this PSU when my replacement board comes in.

i've got an ocz PS 520, its been working magnificently, only .1 V fluctuation under full load. actually .05V, it moves from 12.22 to 12.21, the other rails are just as solid.

i love this psu.

no its not a must have, all of them are atx 2 in the sense that they have 24pin connectors, i think the new ones just have pci-e connectors.

I bought a new powerstream 520 a few days ago and it did come with the atx/eps (20/24 pin) power connectors as well as a PCI-E connector... so I don't think the 600 watt is the only PSU with those connectors.

PC Power & Cooling makes a mean PSU. I have a 510 watt one and it does a very nice job powering my P4 3.6ghz. The 12v rail goes from 11.98 to 11.96 under a fair load, and a really powerful load will take it down occaisionally 11.92. It takes a while, but I have seen it go down to 11.86 a few times. Oddly those 4 numbers I just said are the only ones I've ever seen it put out. And those voltages are without me playing with the pots.

From what I hear OCZ and PCP&P are pretty close. I got a good deal on mine, but I would have bought the OCZ just as fast if I was given the chance.
