Hi guys!

I was just waiting for the ATI RADEON X850 XT Platinum to come out so I could buy my next big upgrade. So… It’s time. :)
This time I have decided to go over to the AMD camp again (last one was a very early Barton core), leaving my trusty P4E 3.20 for my kid.
What I really need help in is getting a top on the line AMD system that has to last for a loong time. Hence, the wait for the ATI card and the move to PCI-E.
I just need the CPU, MOBO and RAM. The rest I'll use from my current system.

I was thinking of getting:
FX55
Geil 4400 TCCD
DFI NF4

What do you guys think?
Or should I wait a bit more because there is some new stuff coming out soon? (Whatever happened to the ATI chipset?)

Anyways, any help will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Everything will be watercooled.

New stuff is coming out anytime. The new stuff im waiting for is the fx with winchester core. The winchesters are really great, and me,i would rather wait for that as get the Clawhammer.Geil 4400 TCCD-me,i would go with the mushkin Level 2 you have.Do they have BH-5 Chips?DFI NF 4 should be great but you hear in the forum of the probs with RAM,so this is maybe critical. So,maybe i would have a different choice to yours.

When are the "fx with winchester core" supposed to come out? I know that the best time to buy an upgrade is " right now" since there is always going to be new stuff coming out, but I can wait a little longer if it's very close to come out.

The chips are BH-5's but I have read that they don't get along very well with A64's.

Oh on my MSI k8N Neo they run great with RAM Booster, have a look:http://arc.aquamark3.com/arc/arc_view.php?run=2098089037
That is Infineon PC2700U with BH-6 Chips. But Mushkin Level2 are known as absolutely great, but u must give them the right voltage!Did u never test them with 3,5 Volts? If I were you,I would not sell that.Only if they should be suckies,I would sell.I have tested also the OCZ TCCD;the Infineon is definately faster. But you need a mobo which runs great with that, ofcourse the MSI is.I wait for FX with winchester, dont know when it will be available. The win is a crazy core which runs like hell on air only. Its fantastic.
