Ultra-d Chip Temp

Heya all, Anyone take off the chip fan and apply AS5 or some other thermalpaste to their new sli/ultra-d's the get their chip temp lower?

Yes, this is a must because it ships with a thermal pad rather than grease.

yes, i've applyed as5 to the northbridge and its lowered the temps about 5*C

I also applied AS5 but only got a 2-3C decrease in temp. Then I added a second 120mm case fan (low rpm and noise) to my Sonata and the temp dropped 8C.
