Just got the rest of my order from fedex today. I am replacing my Gigabyte K8NPRO 150, a643000+ 754, 1gig exlir Ram, zalman alu heatsink, and selling it to my brother for 350$. (needs an update from his 1gig p3 dell that has 256RDRAM to do music editing at college). So I wanted to upgrade a bit so I bought:
CoolerMaster Centurian 5
DFI NF4 Ultra
Retail:a64 3000+ CBBID 0501 (blah, heard they are bad?)
2x512 Kingmax 3500 Ram (bought vantac heatspreaders)
MSI 6600GT
I will be using my same IDE WDSE 80gig HD and trying to sell my 9800PRO with artic cooling2 heatsink (for sale if intrested)
My current sonata case will be used for my old pc in my closet and i'll figure a use for that.
What do you guys think? Will I beable to get decent clocks and see an improvement over my old rig? the highest stable I could get is 2200mhz and now I now run at stock b/c I upgraded to 1 gig and it can't be set higher.
I have to wait to assemble till friday and will hopefully post pics then!
