I found a weird list of things you can do with coke...
I tried the one about the toilet, and it sure did work.
whatever is in this stuff stripped my toilet clean as new.
scary stuff
1. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet. Let the real thing sit for one hour or so, then flush clean. the citric acid in the Coke removes stains from vitreous china.
2. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: rub the bumper with a crumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.
3. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.
4. To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.
5. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into a baking pan; wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is finished, remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for sumptuous brown gravy.
6. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of Coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular wash cycle. the Coca-Cola will help loosen the grease stains.
7. To clean road haze from you windshield: soak a cloth or sponge on Cole and rub on the windshield.. then clean with water. Be sure you do not spill the coke on the car paint!!!

Snopes says it is safe to drink :) http://www.snopes.com/cokelore/acid.asp
The good folks at Coca Cola want to sell more of their product. they don't care if you drink it or not. So they came up with a dozen of other uses for Coke to make you consume more.... :P
Is Pepsi as good in cleaning stains as Coke?? :D
Just kidding. We all know it's bad for your health but then again, name one product, nowadays, which isn't.... :(

Its safe, like snopes said the ph is around 2.8, the PH of the acid in your stomach is very close to 1 so its much more acidic than coke, So in theory you could eat a nail and it would be gone in less then 2 days. =D

Why do you think they don't care if you swallow a quarter? Comes out as a nickel a few days later
Don't fall asleep while having a bath in coke :-)

Coca Cola branded syrup has been for sale, for years, in U.S. pharmacies. Sold as a nausea remedy for children and adults.
Kinda like drinking a Coke the morning of a bad hangover, sometimes it helps!

2. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: rub the bumper with a crumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.
that one works with just aluminum foil, coke isnt needed. Nice try on their part, but they overdo it.

coke is extreamly concentarted, so much so that it can cause dehydration for young kids.
why doesnt it do it to adults?
cos kids have half the "concentrating ability " than adults.
its like an adult drinking sea water, in order to remove the salt, the body would have to dilute the sea water by two times and so you actually lose water.
so dont give your kids full coke.... not to kids.
the best way if you really wanna is to dilute it with half of water...

That's what they did with baking soda.. Revenues went up exponentially after they had researchers do tests and come up with new uses.. It's an amazing marketing tool..
BTW- Glazed ham with coke = THE WIN!
well in case you guys didn't know, coca-cola is the only soda/pop beverage company that has a product approved for use in outer space!
http://www.mindspring.com/~pen-art/ccfacts.htm thats a link of my proof. but now i think that maybe my info is dated. but either way, first to be in outer space!
