Nventiv Prometeia mach 2 Cooler

Ok here,s my problem one day was playing a game and computer just shuts off, mach 2 lcd says fan fail, ok I thought maybe motherboard bad booted back up and couple minutes later shuts off says fan fail. Ok put in my other motherboard runs for awhile shuts off fan fail, ok put in new power supply PC Power and Cooling 510 deluxe, ok runs for awhile shuts off fan fail, tried a brand new 74 raptor frsh install of win XP, runs for awhile shuts off fan fail. Ive got everything set right in bios all fans disabled etc. like I,ve had for almost a year when everything was running good. temps on the mach 2 where good to -46C/50C at idle, -36C/42C load just as good since the day I got it. I bought it from Crazy PC 3/24/2004, this thing is running cool, it's got to be the mach 2 but what is it? contol unit got something buggy or what. fans run when start up, after it been sitting for awhile it will be in windows forawhile, then when it starts happening it starts quick like right after bios maybe alitlle into desktop and shuts off fan fail. Any help I suggestions for this problem? got me stumped. :confused:

Try using a separate or dedicated power supply for the Mach II 12cm fan and see if it boots.

it boots at times just shuts itself off and then starts more rapidly

any other suggestions I think its shutting down because of the overheat protection in the compressor, how do I get this fixed. It will run great for awhile tell the shutdown then it will happen really quick, you know like it,'s to hot.

Try running your 120mm fan on a separate power supply. If your problem persist reflash the firmware. :)
