I got a stock mach2 that is gathering dust in the corner, so thought i'd break it out. But i can't be bothered with using the Lian Li PC60 case to house the board/cpu.

I want to use mach2 with the motherboard lying horizontally on my desk. So what's best orientation to bend the hose to allow for this ? Got any pics of your own horizontally setup board + stock mach2 to give me an idea of what to do ?

Also with the backplate heater it gets really hot like 90+ C from my thermal probe, that would be a scorcher when lying horizontally ? Any tips ? Any pics ?

thanks :)

George

The thing is, I bought this mach II second hand and it probably has a borked hose. (didn't look at it any further, I have other things on my mind right now). I had installed it upright in a case at first but I couldn't mount it to the motherboard tray because there was to big of a strain on the hose so I isolated the backside and left it standing loose and upright in the case. Nonetheless, the hose was under a lot of stress when I placed it down on the prom. I found that the way it is mounted in the picture was the seccond least stressfull for the hose but I needed it in that position because I wanted to mount that seccond hand prom on the vidcard :)
