That's really good for value ram (i guess hence the quotation marks). I'll buy some of these this week and test em out.

I'd take 2x512MB of 250mhz 2.5-3-3-5 w/2.7v for $150...

The "real" LA is: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-231-008&depa=0
quite a bit more.
Here is the link to the Gskill page for the one in the OP: http://www.gskill.com/pc3200-2-3-3-6-dc.html

someone else asked if its tccd, it isnt, all tccd does 2-2-2-5 at 200fsb. OPP got lucky he hit ddr500, I was able to hit ddr500 with my pc3200 corsair value ram but only single channel, they suck in dual :( If your cheap, poor or on a tight budget, buy this ram and take a chance, if you want guaranteed high clocks, get gskill(especially 2x256) I am seeing people hit ddr600(with godly ondie controllers)

Also that 2x256mb doesn't stress the on-die controller as much, but alot of CPU's will do 300 with 2x512mb aswell.

You shouldnt consider that crap;) Those ARE good RAM's... You just need to know how to use them correctly, and you have some good RAM's for the price...

No, not all tccd can do 2-2-2 at 200mhz.........

I just ordered a gig to try out, anyone know who manufactures gskill branded chips??
Not sure what to expect, I just hope my picky VNF3-250 likes it.....
It seems like a decent price with the timings that are possible.....
