Hi Guys!
Cool Community!

I'm Bandit666 from Germany (yeeahhh Krauts *fg*), and i'm searching Overclockingram for my MB Asus A8N Deluxe SLI, but:

The Ram MUST be fully kompatible
MB can give max. 3,0V Vdimm
OCZ-Booster is not kompatible (also no Winbond UTT's for me)
I do not make V-Mods *bibber*
2x512 Sticks
250-260Mhz and 2.2.2.6 by max. 3,0V is a "MUST HAVE" *fg*
Shiping in Germany
good Gararanty and Support in Germany

These are my Favorites:

Corsair TwinX XL PRO PC3200 1024MB Dual-Kit
A-DATA Vitesta PC4500 1024MB Dual-Kit with TCCD
GEiL Ultra Platinum PC4400 1024MB Dual-Kit
Kingston HyperX ULTRA PC4000 1024MB Dual-Kit with TCCD
TwinMos Speed-Premium PC3200 1024MB Dual-Kit UTT I need over 3,0Volt or?

Hi and welcome Bandit666!

I could not get over 240 dual channel on the A8N. Tried two sets of OCZ 3200 Plat rev 2 and a set of GSKILL LE. Whether its TCCD issue or not i dont know, but at the moment i dont think the asus bios works correctly above that (the gskill are std at 275!)

240 - 245 mhz is a hard limit for the A8N for ram. I emailed a guy at Asus and they don't plan on fixing it, and didn't consider it a problem, as far as he knows.

Oh.....that's F***!

At the moment i've got Biosversion 1004.003 beta and it's working absolutly fine and rockstable.

Can you test your RAM with this Biosversion? Please!

Greetings

The 240 limit is an issue with all current bios versions. Asus have no plans to fix it. You can get higher than that using a 2T command rate but then your bandwidth suffers.
