Hi everyone,

One quick question. I will be getting an AMD Athlon 64 3500+. If I lower the multi to 10x, and raise the FSB to 220, I will get higher bandwith than with 11x 200, right?

Of course, but you should be able to run it much faster than that.

Stock volts get mine to 10x250.

no the 09x280 was 2.5-4-3-10 1T
the 11x230 is 2.5-3-3-10 1T

The faster you can get the RAM running the better your bandwith, someone posted numbers on how much timings are worth, I want to say it was something like;
200mhz 2-2-2-5 = 220mhz 2.5-3-3-7 = 225mhz 2.5-4-3-7 = 235mhz 3-4-4-8

but I might be off by a few. I think it was the "waiting to buy TCCD? Well dont!" thread

also nice to see ya around TekX!
