hey every1,
Im looking to go A64, and im on a buy-parts-as-i-get-cash basis. I will definitely be upgrading the PSU later, but im wondering if my 430W Truepower will suffice for now.

Heres the planned system:
DFI NF4 SLI-DR
A64 3500+ 90nm
2x512MB Mushkin BH-5
Leadtek nVIDIA GeForce 6200 (not a gamer, just needed the cheapest pci-e card with hdtv out)
4-6 hard drives all with IDE to SATA converters.
PLanning also for a watercooling setup, so im gonna throw in a DangerDen DDC pump as well.

What do you all think? Will the 430W Antec be able to power this system at stock speeds until i can get the cash for a Fortron or a OCZ PSU?

yea it should be ok for a while, none of your components are that hungry except the A64 You might want to think about modding your 6200 to a 6600 gt, read the article in the XS news section...

it is recommended to use 24pin psu, and more than 400w.
the dfi is need a lot of power and its necessary if you wont to do some oc.
so like Disposibleteen im say its ok for know but go and buy the ocz psu.

Go with the Corsair PC4400 TCCD they just reviewed over at AnAndTech instead of
the BH-5, because in the end, mass MHz outpaces CAS timings. It's more capable.

As for the PSU, the Antec should suffice until you can afford an OCZ PowerStream.
(Let me tell you first hand, they are incredibly stable power supplies.)

Yep I recomend the OCZ psu as well. I have a 420w and a 600w and love both of them.

I have the 470watt ocz... Id recomend that, but im not sure if they have put pci-e cables on it yet, and unless you want ugly adaptors, go for one that for sure has pci e cables.
