I've been chasing Onepagebook's BH-5 records for a while. He's like my OCing role-model :)
Since I haven't decided to jump on the DFI NF4 bandwagon just yet, this is still on MSI K8N Neo2 and AMD 3200+ "Winchester":

Well, I haven't run Prime95 at above settings. I've had this setup on my balcony for only about 4 hours, just to run some benches and break my personal records. To be honest with you, I think (actually, I'm 100% sure) that at 276x10 this setup will not pass Prime95 Blend torture for more that 60 minutes.
On a dailly basis, I run it @ 265x10=2.65GHz (or 260x10=2.60GHz) with about 3.7vdimm under LOAD :)

I'm only at 270 A64 tweaked (tight as possible) with 3.6v.. I'm hoping for 285ish with 3.9-4.0.. I'm on a modded 3.3v rail, so a booster would be nice..

You're forgetting that it's only "poor" 512KB L2 Winnie at ~2.8GHz and not 1MB L2 FX at 3.3Ghz ;) That's a different league, bud....
BTW, thanx....
EDIT: also, how's that DDR550 of yours doing as far as something more than just "not-so-demanding" SuperPi 1M?
I'm asking because I can't recall anyone else showing such a set of benches at this mem speed, except for OPB's 3DMark2001 run @ 277x12 .... Unless, you know where I can find it....

I think it's the board limiting the overclock.. I say this because anything over 260fsb isn't very stable.. I can run superpi over 265, but Lobby Hi will crash at anything over 262... At 3.3vdimm I can run 250fsb at ANY timings, no matter how tight, and run any app all day long.. Yet, with 3.6vdimm I can barely gain 10mhz completely stable..
This was a) with a multi of 10, so that hurts things, b) on a single channel 754, and c) on a single stick of 512..
I'm convinced that on a DFI NF4 paired with an FX, this ram will skyrocket in it's capabilities..

I'm in same boat as you Mag Master... 256 2-2-2 is rock solid for EVERYTHING at 3.2v, and at ~3.35v I can run 2x512mb tightest timings SuperPI 32MB @ 268 MHz.... but I cant get memtest stable past 260MHz no matter what timings on this VX memory... no matter what multi... no matter vCore etc.
I know I may jus need more vDimm, but it feels like something else is topped... maybe memory controller on my CH. Who knows.
bachus_anonym, I said it already but... amazing clocks dude... nice array of benchmarks too, shows your mem was (even if not 100% stable) sitting there nicely :toast:

:D Hey mate - didn't compare the CPU speed at all - only wanted to show the ability of BH-5........., got also 25sec SP 1M with G.Skill LA 12 x 280 at 2,5-3-3-5.
To respond Your question, I'm OPB's brother......... :p: , no I'm kidding - some people do not use A64 tweaker so they have slower results on SP but maybe higher RAM clocks....... :toast:

I don't get it, HARDCORECLOCKER
That screenie you just showed doesn't even come close to showing BH-5 ability. SuperPi 1M is VERY cpu clock- cpu L2 cache dependant, as well as Pifast4.1. Your Sandra is also higher because your CPU is clocked way higher, too...
The only reason it's 25s is that that BH-5 is paired with FX that runs north of 3.3Ghz ;). If you were on 2750Mhz Winnie instead of 3.3GHz FX you could only dream of below 30s result.

9x multiplier not 1/2
317.87*0.9 = 286.08
sandra score isnt low cuz 9x multiplier is bad, 8x, 7x, 6x... are worse
try a memory bench with a 3000+, u'll see I'm right

on 183 divider, multiply the HTT speed by 11/12... 313x(11/12)=286-287 MHz = DDR 572-574

:D Yep - that's what I tried to say - sure 25sec is depending on CPU speed and max. tweaks with the A64 tweaker but that for I've posted that I do NOT want to compare a FX to a Winnie - only show the "normal" ability of BH-5 to go 275 or even more at higher voltages.
Don't mess around with that screenie - took it with all the settings.... :toast:

9x multiplier not 1/2
317.87*0.9 = 286.08
at 9.5x it would be at DDR540 and at 8.5x that would be DDR533...

sorry for double post, again....
show me some 3D benches at that DDR550 and SuperPi 16M and then I will believe that DDR550 is normal achievement for BH-5... ;)
there's bunch of screenies floating around here with BH-5 @ > DDR560 but only benches I see are either Sandra or SuperPi 1M. That's all....
I encourage everyone to run just a little bit more benches once they hit some high clocks... We should all walk away from this silly trend of showing only SuperPi 1M and Sandra as a proof of "what that mem can do"...
EDIT: At the moment, I have four sets of 2x256MB BH-5 memory (PC3200 LvL II, PC3500 LvL II, PC3200 KHX and PC3500 KHX)... all of them are memtest stable for about 1hr @ 265-270 but only this set of Mushkins is benchable at 276....

:D O.K. mate - looks like You're a real analyst........, You won't believe but I never ever ran a 3D mark in my whole life because I'm still the "proud" owner of a FX 5200 video card....... - but I'll do it soon, my LEADTEK 6600 GT Extreme has still arrived and maybe my DFI NF4 comes tomorrow.
But this has nothin' to do with BH-5, here You have another example:
http://img232.exs.cx/img232/3690/mushkin2757kx.jpg
This is done with MUSHKIN - the bandwith is not as high as done with the CORSAIR shown in first screenie because I was not able to tweak the MUSHKIN as much as the CORSAIR with the A64 tweaker.
But also a good result in the "normal" range for BH-5 with high Vdimm.

@HARDCORECLOCKER....
Don't get me wrong, but you see, I just don't know how should I lay out more clearly....
There's bunch of other benchmarks than just SuperPi 1M that will crap out on "not-so-stable" mem overclock. SuperPi 1M will let that slide...
Can you run at least SuperPi 16M - that (with your FX) should be no more that 10min of your time.... That would be an indicator that this DDR550 will most likely pass 3DM01 or 3DM03....
That's just all I want to see.... I would love to see more people starting threads like that.... Not just "oh, I got my BH-5 up to, say, DDR560 but it's only good for SuperPi 1M and Sandra" threads....

I attached Sandra and Everest benches @ 276x10.... Just add about 40-50Mb/s to it and you will have an idea what 278x10 will look like....
I'm going out soon so I won't be able to do that anytime soon - I need couple shots to celebrate ;)
I can tell you one thing though... I'm not exactly sure if this is Server2003 problem but at anything north of 280 I cannot run Sandra Memory Benchmark... It finishes it but instead of results and bars I get "Not enough resources error" in the fileds where results should be seen :(
