Hi Folks,
i think my XP-m is dying. Usually it ran at 2.64 (220x12 @1.825 VCore) then it froze at 2.6 and now its not even primestable anymore at 2.5!!!
I have to test that tomorrow with another xp-m, but i think its hopeless. I'm writing this here coz this Community helped me out a lot of times and featured my passion for overclocking.
Rest in Peace my lil xp-m! Hope you'll enjoy your stay in Silicone-Heaven...

Enough whining! The good thing about that is that I'll go for a Winnie 3200+ or probably a FX-55 (But my Girlfriend would kick my ass for that). We'll see...

Have you checked your voltages to make sure they havent started fluctuating?
That happened to me when I had mmy 2500+, my psu started giving more erratic and lower voltages and caused my oc to go down alot
Just somethin to check :D
If it means getting an fx-55 maybe you shouldnt even bother checking though ;P lol

Is your room temperature the same now, as it was when the chip did better for you?

If your room is warmer, it could explain the problem.

Have you tried giving it more voltage, for the same stable speed? Your chip might be degrading, due to some small flaw at fabrication (an uncommon, but "known occurance" that is documented anecdotally) - more overvolts will keep it going for awhile though.

Be warned, overvolting the chip at this point will accelerate its degradation; although I personally would just crank the VCORE for now, untill you get your new setup.

Room Temp's the same. It freezes at 2.6 even if I get up to 1.85 VCore (a week ago it did that with 1.775!!!) and isnt prime stable at 2.5.
Hope everything works fine tomorrow with another xp-m for testing. If thats not the case Mem or MoBo is broken  , but I dont think so.
I think it was a little bit too much doing all the mods (L12, L13, WarMOD) and pushing it to the max like hell but it was fun :D
Hope that wont happen to my FX-55!!!

More news probably tomorrow!!!

Hi,
I found that when I did my L12 mod I got nothing out of it, A good Bios with L12 mod gave me more maybe you should try this first.
