Hi there fellows,

I have a vapochill LS and i'm wondereing if there isn't a weay to make her more silent...

Changing the compressor for example...isn't there any compressor more silent than the one that comes with vapochill LS???
I mean, one compressor same size that could be fit inside the vapo LS case...

Or changing the gas..

Something please...give me some hints because the noise from the compressor is REALLY anoying!!!

Thankx

the compressor is noisy? usually it's the fans that make the most noise in these systems...

I would reccomend buying a cheap fan controller and hooking all the fans to it so you can control their speed and thus how loud the unit is.

you can control the fans of the unit with the software prowided. And yes it is pretty loud compressor (FR8.5CLX). The only thing I can think of is changing the condenser to a larger one so no need to run the fans ot full speed. You would still have to bear the suond of the compressor but the whole unit would be a bit quieter.

dont screw with the loop (compressor>condensor>>cap tube>evap>suction>...) you bought a commercial unit. If you want another unit return it or sell it then get a custom one. You could also work with the vibrqatoin absorbers and add a foam wall or somthing for the noise.
