Ahem  17 views and no post tells me I should update first post,
Basically, what are the best brands of bh-5 out there now, what ram other than tccd can compare with ocz vx and which brands of tccd can do 250+ fsb at 2-2-2-5.
Ty in advance.

the pc3200 plat rev2 i do beleive i've seen do 250 at 2-2-2-5
As far as BH-5 goes, it seems that its more pure luck than deciding which brand to buy :P
I've seen kingston, mushkin, twinmos, corsair etc etc all have some amazing bh-5 sticks... it's hard to find a nice set of bh-5 if you dont already own them though
If you want tight timings at decent speeds (250-270) then VX is definetly the "safe buy"

:D No problem at all - if You have a fine mem controller and Your board supplies 1:1 HT 300+ go for G.Skill TCCD, saw them in action at 340 2,5-4-3-7.
Or use BH-5, this is done with CORSAIR 3200LLPT :

To get 25sec SuperPi 1M with TCCD I have to set 12 x 280.......... :toast:

ummm.... Why you cry for 17 views no post? 17 views when there is 300 guests, plus those who don't know the answer.... Be patient, you didnt even let 30min....
And BH5 will be good in about any companies, it is not like G.skill that are hardly testing each modules, so they can garantee higher speeds, G.skill didn't manufacter RAM's with BH5 ( At least not since they are known).... Just go with any BH5 if you want BH5. But UTT is scaling about the same as BH5.... And TCCD will probably NOT do over 240MHz....

R u kidding me, or is getting too cold there in New Brunswick, I've seen SSs of TCCD over 260 at 2-2-2-5.
Or use BH-5, this is done with CORSAIR 3200LLPT :
Hardcore that is either the luckiest set of 3200 LLPT OR you're giving it 4.0Volts or something because theres no way ALL corsair bh-5 do 270 2-2-2 !!! Nice job though but its probably an exception.

:D 3,9 Vdimm and no exception - also on NF2 had the best performace with it - did 11,5 x 263 2-2-2-5 there but remember, LLPT are the ones with the silver HS - they always ran a bit better than the black one non PT.

from my experience - currently I have 4 sets of 2x256MB BH-5 ( LvL II PC3500, LvL II PC3200, KHX 3200 and KHX 3500) and all of them are 3dmark2001 stable @ 270 6-2-2-2.0-1T on my Neo2/Winnie.

My mistake, I mistook 2-3-3-6 as 2-2-2-5 from one of the other threads my bad.
But I really did think gskill could do 250 at 2-2-2-5 but anyway, can bh-5 go 240/250ish on less than 3.4v ??

theres the main ram timings, and the the alpha/sub timings.

Really, well then if VX isnt bh-5 then what is it that makes it go such high fsb 2-2-2 ??
Also, how well does bh-5 do on Intel platforms (478 or 775) ?

OCZ VX (and the Twinmos AA4T-modules) isn't equipped with BH-5. It does use an enhanced CH-5 memory chip.
My bh5 do 253 @3.14vdimm  ;) .
i wasnt trying to brag(imo its nothing to brag about 225 is damn low), i was just trying to show him that it can hit 240 easy
