I got the sys that is in my signature.

I want to know if the winchester has problems whit 1T 2*512mb and htt over 240?

i cant get my ram over 235-240. but whit a 754 system it goes too HTT290+ 1T

whit 2T it can do 300+ whit my s939.

i can do the same whit 2-3-3-5 and 3-4-4-10.. all 1T

the cpu can do 300+ too whit a divider.

is there a known issue whit the winchester whit high 1T speeds and TCCD ram? or is it DS 2*512?

Could it be that running it in dual channel now is limiting the ability to run 1T?

I'm not sure, but it's one thing to consider, I think.

why dont u try running single channel to verify the cause...

only slots 1 and 3 or 2 and 4 work
if i put them in 1 and 2 there is no boot.

any other way to disable DC?

EDIT: i can try with one stick...

It has nothing to do with DC.
same results whit one stick.

i heard that winnies doesnt like ram at 1T higher than 240htt...i dont know if this is a myth or not...cos back at the forum i used to hang around, i saw few of the forumers on 1T at high htt..
more than 250fsb plus tight timing somemore...so i guess is it the RAM compatibility issues with ur mobo...i think u have to try running another s939 mobo...
well i really hope this is just a myth cos im planning on Twinmos winbond UTT or TCCD.
So im not planning to spurge my cash on ram that can only do 2T..
