I just got me the dfi nf4 sli-dr board, and im gonna get either a winny 3200 or 3500, and im wondering what kind of gskill ram to go with it, or if there are any others go to faster than the gskill. Im wanting 1gb of ram, whatever the best speed is, and the best ram for the job. Please help!

You shouldn't be concerned with brand names. What you want to look for is the manufacturer of the chips - Samsung for TCCD and Winbond for BH-5.

TCCD overclocks well by loosening the timings.
BH-5 overclocks well with extra voltage.

Since you're getting a DFI NF4 mobo which is capable of doing 4.0v vdimm, you'd probably benefit most from ram that uses BH-5 chips.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm still learning ;)

nah, OPB says Winbond has even tried 5V on BH5 without problems.

BH-5 are memory chips and so are TCCD, Hynix, BH-6 etc.
These days best chips are TCCD (doesn't need very high voltage) and BH-5 (provided you can get high voltage).

that is awesome :toast:
the highest I've seen so far. Is there any higher than this with these timings?

If you are going 1 gb, I'd suggest g.skill LE 4400 if you want HTT over 275ish. If you want 275 or under HTT, OCZ Vx is going to be able to run tighter timings most of the time.

Save some cash and get the 3200+ 90nm(winchester), instead of the 3500. They end at about the same ghz on o/c most of the time. So again only advantage to the 11x instead of 10x multi is going to be running lower HTT for tighter timings, but then again higher HTT has its advantage also. So you have to weigh your options and decide on what your goal is.

try gskill, only s*it is what that ram cant find in croatia,we dont have distributer for gskill,we have 3 distributerd of corsair, one OCZ and one kingston,LAME i know:(
so i must be pleased with corsair:)

diference between 3200 and 3500 is very small,u wont see diference,u will probably clock and ........will get higher speeds instead 3500:)
